I adore photographers who make me believe in fairy-tales again. Photographer Tokihiro Sato makes the world seem magical. He takes the pictures using a long-exposure--sometimes shooting for up to three hours. During the time he enters the scene and uses flashlights and mirrors to create dream-like states that have evidence of his presence while being void of any figures. In the end we're left with little records of mystery; even after learning the technique the photographs still bemuse and entertain making us wonder what the lights represent. The enjoyment in the images though is not in answering, but in admiring and wondering.
