Carven A/W 2012

The Carven girl is a recent graduate (or escapee depending on how you define graduation) from a private all-girls boarding school in the Swiss Alps. She left school with only an old carpet bag she stole from her roommate, a worn collection of diaries by Anais Nin, and a train ticket to Paris. She wasn't much a rebel when she was sent away to school at fourteen but in the intervening years a heavy indulgence in romantic authors has convinced her that her life should imitate a novel. Her limited wardrobe is a mix of her old school uniforms and customized "Sunday best" dresses the girls were allowed to wear to weekend services. Her newly claimed liberties with skirt hem length and makeup might be more effective with the young men she finds attractive if her idea of flirting wasn't staring intensely without blinking until the subject becomes uncomfortable and flees her general vicinity.
