Frost Flowers

Part of me is sad to winter-ize a floral dress meant for summer and sunshine and bare legs. Why must I make something adapt itself to a season it isn't intended for? Why must I adapt to colder weather, shorter days, and seemingly endless dark nights of wind and frost? Yet, adjustment is necessary and there is comfort to be found in cozy knits, heavy meals, and twinkle lights that turn nights from gloomy to full of potential...

This is so beautiful. The egg blue with the forest green...I never would have put those two colors together!

I always have a hard time transitioning light dresses to fall and winter, but I love how you've brought such a pretty, fem floral piece into the cooler months with the additions of greys and browns. Too pretty.
