I have more pictures to show from New York, but it's nice to return to my usual posts of tranquil waters and pastoral landscapes in rural Pennsylvania. These pictures were taken a few hours after I finished moving into my new apartment. It was a hot day of carrying boxes up stairs and beginning to unpack things, but there were so many friends who came out to help that my roommates and I were fairly settled in a short span of time. After a much needed dinner out with my parents who came up to help me move (and visit some of their favorite vintage shops), I tripped down to the river for a few moments of calm. I'm going to miss living this close to the water, but I have a feeling I'll just be making the effort to drive out with great regularity.
