I try not to think (or whine) about it too much, but with summer upon us I really do miss easy access the ocean. I'm not really the typical summer beach goer as bikinis and tans aren't really my "thing," but I do love splashing about in the waves or just sitting on the shore with a book. Oh well, I'm sure I'll make it back to the sea soon enough and meanwhile there are books full of ocean adventures to be read.

Blimey, we've barely had a summer in the UK, it's just constant rain! Those earrings are 100% me... minus the slight problem of not having pierced ears. But that's only a little problem, right? xx
I love everything about this post, especially those sunglasses! And I much prefer a day relaxing & thinking by a cold sea to a hot, sweaty day at a sunny beach.

I love the dress very much.
The patterns are very interesting and I love the collar.
I've lived by the sea all my life but have just recently moved away right into the middle of the UK and really miss it. I don't like sunbathing either but I miss the breeze. The sea also makes me feel calm and peaceful, and I miss that too.
The Sea wolf is a novel written by Jack London. It is an intriguing tale about the adventures of a protagonist, Humphrey Van Weyden aboard the ship called the Ghost.
