My obsession with maps is well documented, so when I spied this map print tee more within my budget than Carven's Resort dresses, I couldn't resist. It seemed fitting to photograph the map print on train tracks which always imply the possibility of travel and connectivity to places once distant. I don't know why I really like maps (and globes) so much, maybe it just relates to how much I enjoy traveling and my own lacking sense of a "home." Being asked where your from is always a difficult question when you grew up moving three years and the location of your parents is still constantly changing. While there's a definite benefit to having a connection to a specific geographic area and a sense of roots, I don't feel as if I'm suffering.

A map print tee shirt! That's so perfect. I've always wanted a giant map on my wall, though I'm not much of a traveller. Anywho, this shirt is just so lovely and I bet you'll have fun remixing it. That skirt makes it very desert-y. :D
What a gorgeous shirt!
In Milwaukee there is a store that is literally a store for all things maps...it is awesome! I've picked up two lovely old fashioned looking ones there and I have them up on my walls. Maps are so neat...it's fun to gaze at them and imagine future travels.
Super cute, I love clothing with maps on them. :)

Maps are so fun. So fascinating. Lovely look.
Do you know Alviero Martini brand? I don't know if you cand find it in US, in Italy is quite popular: bags and a line of clothing, with maps all around the world
This dress is adorable! I love the way you styled it too- I would never try a jacket that color but it looks great!
That shirt is amazing. I've always been enamored with maps and globes...not that you'd ever know it, from my poor navigating skills!

That just might be the best tee shirt I've ever seen. I like how you've styled it so demurely. I would love to try making it a bit more rock'n'roll. You gotta love something so versatile. Great find!
That top is gorgeous! I love the Carven ones but this is perfect too.

You probably get suggestions for map-print stuff all the time, I'm guessing. But you would like this shop:

Love this outfit! That map top is just perfect.
What an amazing top!
I moved every three years as a kid too, so I definitely know how you feel! Great top, I love the print.
Love the tee! Have you seen these flats at Ruche? http://shopruche.com/foreign-travels-flats.html Super cute!
are those sandals from topshop comfy? ?'ve been considering buying them for a long time but I haven't found any honest opinion about their comfortableness.
Aw I just love this outfit. Your map print shirt is fantastic with your cute little button-down skirt. Your map shirt reminded me that I'd love to add something map-like to my apartment decor. Maybe I'll come across something at the thrift store?
@Chio, I find them super comfortable. I might add a gel pad to the front at some point b/c they don't have that, but as for heel height and the straps--it's very comfortable, easy to walk in, and I haven't gotten any blisters or sore spots.
Oh, my god. I love your top!
