Hues Of Bliss More Brightly Glow

I really admire Dita von Teese's street style--I mean her stage presence and red carpet looks are stunning, but her daywear is more a more realistic goal for my lifestyle and still seriously chic. This skirt seemed like something she would sport as she often opts for longer, fuller lengths while wearing something nipped in on top. Red lipstick was obviously a must, but I didn't really channel her head-to-toe with my basic tee and a too-large bag. I'll need to find some more retro-inspired tops and carry my more delicate handbags to complete the look in the future...

Gorgeous outfit! Love the top too, but the skirt is also beautiful - very simple and classy. And it has a perfect legth!

I've always worn my glasses on my face, but I' really liking the way they look on a top. I'll have to give that a try, but then I'd have a hard time seeing anything...lol!

That is such a cute top! :)

hehe, I love that tee! The full skirt is darling on you as well. Dita von Teese always looks so CLASSY, I love that about her. You're definitely channeling her.

You look way prettier, Rebecca! :) But yes I totally agree, her off-duty looks are far more interesting and 'personal' than her red carpet ones. This skirt suits you so beautifully!

I can't figure out how to comment on your "Greek Letters" post so I'm using this one instead. Hope you don't mind! I was just so surprised to see you mention Aegina! I didn't know you'd been there and I rarely hear it mentioned outside of my college.

My school has a program in Aegina, and I lived there for 5 months last fall studying abroad. It was amazing and I was lucky enough to see lots of other areas in Greece as well, including Santorini and Athens. I miss it so much! The pictures you posted made my heart ache. I just hope I can go back someday :)

Looks like you got a hair cut? I'd like to see a post on how you style your hair ... I have a similar style and maybe because my hair is so thick it takes about an age to make look good. Maybe you have a more efficient method? Looks great, anyway!
