June has been a bit drab in these parts and frequent storms have been intruding on summer plans. I spent most of this day inside avoiding getting wet, but just before sunset the rain let up to a sprinkle and my roommate was kind enough to take a few pictures of me in our front yard. White is probably an impractical choice for a rainy day, but since I don't have to spend hours in the outdoors or hike a mile to work it's as logical to wear as any other color. My umbrella is certainly getting put to good use lately; I've had this one for a couple of years now and I haven't tired of it yet.

I've only got one.. zebra print.. got it when living in europe.. 5 years ago.. and I've never used it again.. not since I'm back home.. it NEVER rains here...

This umbrella is gorgeous! A rainy day looks so much better in my oppinion, when people are taking the opportunity and wear lovely umbrellas. :) I have a off-white one that has the pointed shape of a pagoda.
