Once when I was much younger I got into an argument with one of my sisters over the color red--we both wanted to claim it as our "signature color" to wear. I don't even know where we found the concept of a signature color, but I remember she sort of won the argument and I started erring towards more blue clothes after that. It's been a number of years and I've clearly returned to wearing red (in fact I've have a nice collection of little red dresses started), but it's interesting to remember that old argument.

That's funny! I had the same kind of situation with my cousin, who is like a sister to me. Our families lived next to each other back then and we were really close. She was the girl who's color was red. I was the one who had to stick with the blue... It bothered me back then so much.
My sister and I had the same issue. I ended up with pink and she got blue. My grandmother always made us matching outfits since we are only 13 months apart. I love this red dress on you. You are such a cutie!
Red is a beautiful color on you.

That's a cute story, I would have loved a sister to argue about something like that. Rather I have two brothers so I supposed red and blue were mine to claim.

hah, that's funny... Luckily, my sister and I never had to have a toss up for colors as she was the tomboy and always liked blue more, and I was the girly-girl who liked pinks and reds.
Red looks good on you with your hair color, and the jacket and scarf are a nice offset to the red dress.
Love the red look on you. Wish I could pull it off!
i love this edgier look on you!

That's such a sweet colour! Red is definitely my signature colour, though I don't wear it as much as I'd like to. Half of my decor is red though!

It's funny you should post this today, because in the car driving home from work I was thinking about the color red, and the weird feelings I have about it!
Adorable, effortless as always <3
Such a lovely outfit, and a beautiful back drop too! The red looks great on you, I've been adding more pops of it to my wardrobe lately and I can't get enough.
I can see red being your signature color...you pull it off with aplomb :) I've been a little red-obsessed lately myself!

Both red and blue look incredibly pretty on you. I have such a thing for red and blue I don't think I could pick just one to wear!
My Sister and I had a similar "discussion" growing up...and ironically, it was over the color red as well! She won as well....and to this day, I feel strange when I wear red...Like I'm going to get caught and yelled at...
You are such a doll!
My mom and I are currently having this problem. For the last 5 years I have been away from home and we haven't seen each other often, but it turns out we both chose eggplant and teal as our signature colors. When we didn't see each other often it was fine, but now that we see each other almost weekly we are always wearing the same color! I think we are going to have to have that dreaded conversation and pick who gets teal and who gets eggplant...
