As mentioned last week, I'm supposed to be trying new silhouettes more this year--not because I have to, but because I want to. I don't really feel a need to explore the avante guarde, anything that doesn't feature a full skirt is pretty much outside of my normal. So, I decided to pull out one of my pencil skirts; there was a period in time where I wore these fairly often...

Outfit details:
thrifted skirt
Jeffrey Campbell heeled loafers
Juicy Couture purse

This pencil skirt is just perfect on you! New silhouette, but still your style.
I know I'm supposed to be focusing on your choice of wearing a pencil skirt...but I STILL can't get over how perfectly you wear that pixie. I hope you keep it awhile longer:)
I'm so used to seeing your lovely full skirted silhouette that when you try a new outline, it throws me off. Ah, the comforts of a reader. The outfit is perfect and very becoming on you. I look forward to new undertakings!
Love the jumper! Oh, and love Midnight in Paris too :)

Love the mix of colours, teal and mustard are so nice together and what a cute print on your sweater. Love it! x
P.S. I loved Midnight in Paris too, the 1920's costumes were fab.
Love it. This is a very flattering look for you!
Like the silhouette change up.
Also love it when you don pony print!
It looks great! I like seeing a pencil skirt worn in a casual way, I don't know why I have this idea that pencil skirts are more formal... you make it look comfy and casual.

this is THE best outfit. the colors, the silhouette, everything.
Love that skirt. Great fabric and length.
You look just as lovely in a pencil skirt as you do in a full skirt! Since the sweater hits around the waist area, it still nips you in and looks flattering in my opinion. :]
This outfit is wonderful!!!
Compliments!!!
