Can you spot the ships in the background of these photographs? Ghost ships; military vessels not in use, but not quite abandoned to the elements. They keep them in good condition and wait for a day when they are necessary for training or otherwise (more often it's training). They seem so mysterious to me; close but unreachable, deserted but guarded. Some nights their lights come on, but most nights they disappear into the twilight...

oh, what a nice look!
I'm always so afraid to pair brown and black together, but you've pulled it off nicely! And I love the back-seam nylons!!
I love the back seam tights! Lovely outfit!

Love the story and the outfit!
Beautiful jacket!
Great outfit. We linked you in our Occupy the Wardrobe because you're one of our inspirations! :) @tiedyepoa
Photo #5 (Sitting on a Stump) is a fabulous shot. I particularly like how the branches frame your head. Just wonderful.
For some reason your hair looks particularly lovely today. can't put my finger on it!
Beautiful! I love your jacket. :)

You are just so pretty, and take the best pictures!
Hello, I was just wondering if your hair color is natural of if you dye it, because I love it and have been wanting to dye my hair almost that exact same shade for quite some time.
Love the blouse - and the whole outfit, really. You pull off the Audrey/gamine look so well :)
Gorgeous. Like usual. I'm loving the seemed tights although I know I'd be terrible at keeping them straight all day :)
The muddy shoes shot is my favorite.
Nice tights. I love the seam in the back. The way you styled them with this outfit makes it more cute and sexy than over the top sexy, which I can really appreciate.
I really love how you're daringly incorporating more separates into your wardrobe! Where on earth do you find such beautiful, mint-conditioned thrifted items?
Lovely.
I love the shape of the skirt.
That haircut makes you so elegant Rebecca!

wow, what a preppy style !!! Love it, when you wear buttoned up. You should do more often. Fits you :-)
I love the black gloves. I'm sure they were a practical addition, but that add a little bit of bad girl to your sweet look
Great photos. And I love the backs of your tights!
Rock on! I love a person that can rock brown and black at the same time! Kudos to you.

I really love mixing brown and black and you did a perfect job in this outfit! The bomber jacket is wonderful; I'd love to have one like that in my collection. I really like the cute retro detail of the backseam tights too.
I bet theres a lot of atmosphere such a beautiful place and then docked war ships! Would like to shoot there!
Liking the shirt with that jacket :)

I second the comment about how you created your look in neutrals - deep chocolate and black. Works so well with the background! And the touch gloves look perfect on you :)
