I don't usually wear such a pale palette of colors--pink is especially sparse in my closet, but there's something in the winter light and bare branches that makes such tones more appealing than usual. I'm also growing increasingly addicted to these little sweaters; I want to spend all my days cozily wrapped up in lambswool. We do need some comforting clothes to survive long nights and cold winds...

Love the print of the skirt!
Sweaters over button-down shirts has been sort of a uniform for me this season. Comfortable, professional looking, and warm.
What shade of lipstick are you wearing? You always look so pretty in it!
I'm in love with this outfit! Love the skirt and are you really wearing a boy's sweater? Looks great on you.
@Siel, yes of course--it's a j crew little boys sweater age/size 8. kids department ftw. :)
That skirt is so pretty! Really warms up the grey sweater...
Ah I shop in the boys' department too! Same quality as the adult's, only a better fit and way cheaper! ;) Love the way you layered it over that dress. So pretty!
Lovely dress! Love the romantic colour and cute prints!

Pink looks perfect with pearl gray! It is also a color I need to invite to my closet!
usually not a fan of printed skirts, but the colors just go together so well, super cute! <3

I love the way you've layered this dress. Great job making it go from a springy/summery type dress to winter <3
You suit these colours! Love the whole outfit and the location is really pretty too :)
The soft grey and the peach is such a pretty combination!
I like the preppy/artsy hybridness of this outfit. These pale colors look lovely on you. The dark tights and shoes really grounds the look. I might have to work something similar into my rotation. Thanks for the inspiration!
You look gorgeous in pink--you need more of. I think it's the tone of your skin--very pretty! And so perfect with your hair color.
Great skirt. Such an easy look.

you should definitely add more pink in your wardrobe, it looks so pretty on you!
Let me tell you that you're very lucky because these cold tones fit you perfectly. Not my case. I'm pale too but I don't know why I feel they make me look silly, specially on tops.
Fantastic outfit!
Specially the skirt. It's adorable.

I always feel like when I wear a button down over a skirt without it tucked in it looks very unflattering, but it looks great on you. Maybe I will have to rethink my fashion standards.
