It's always interesting to watch the seasons change through photographs--to see the trees in these woods go from green to gold to red and now an almost-bare brown. The light shifts too with each change, bright but softened by full foliage in spring and summer, warmer through fall's dying leaves, and finally clear and cold in winter. Although I do dramatize somewhat for we are having a marvelously mild winter...
