Nature's greatest example of alchemy is at work as green leaves turn gold and fall on a gentle bed of brown pine needles. Do leaves feel bitter that trees drop them so easily? Certainly there is an elemental change in the air; a strange melancholy in the misty mornings and early sunsets that wasn't there before. But even as the air grows chill we find warmth in cozy kitchens, oversized knits, and the world turning gold around us.

Such a perfect fall outfit. I love the shape of that skirt and I'm so jealous of your bare legs! (Too cold here!)

The title of this post caught my attention darling as I am currently reading a book called The Alchemist, but aside from that you look lovely and it's perfect shoot for fall!

That first photo is so stunning -- I love the lighting, and how your sweater complements the changing leaves. Your writing is so beautiful too -- perfectly captures what this time of year is all about, too.
Waw! The light in the first photo look magical! Is it a special effect? Or it was really like this? Are you living near a forest with fairies? ^^ What a beautiful place...
By the way, nice outfit! The red boots are so cute!!!

The light in these pictures is simply gorgeous Rebecca!
I love Fall so much too but wish the trees would hang on to their leaves. They would look so pretty covered in snow.

I -LOVE- your 1st shot! The double sunset/sunrise flare is amazing! Did you take this yourself, or did someone else do it! Again, wow! :D

The perfect fall outfit! Though, I am sad to say it has already progressed into winter here in Colorado! Lovely sweater.

I love that you can layer a relatively loose sweater over a relatively flared skirt (I often try to do this) and not look like a big dumb triangle (I often do). I love this silhouette.
Love this look, The pictures are fantastic I love the scenery. Great post!
I love reading your posts, so poetic.

This is a perfect autumn outfit:) I'm loving those boots too!
love these photos...quintessential autumn...sweet sweater!
My world turned golden, ochre, mustard and crimson earlier in October, and now is quickly becoming a skeletal echo of what it was just weeks ago.
The winds are turning icy and biting, instead of electric and magical.
Soon, I'll be enroute to Hawaii, leaving the sudden, deathly freeze behind. I'm excited for the change.
