A Smile As Cold As Sunrise In October

I just got my first cold of the season, so I'm feeling rather miserable and loopy from medication. All I want to do (and all I feel capable of doing) lately is curling into a ball and staring despondently at random things. Bah, colds are terrible business, but I'm optimistic it will be over soon enough; even illnesses can't last forever. Until then you can expect glazed eyes and a dazed expression from me...

Outfit details:
ASOS sweater
vintage Coach purse

Hope you feel better soon! This outfit is beyond adorable -- I love the ruffles on your dress.

And can I say, your outfit photos recently have been killin' it. Love your train-car exploring! You've definitely inspired me to find more places around my town ...

Get well soon! Was it very cold taking the photo without the sweater?

Very cute outfit Rebecca! I hope your feeling better as well, and try to stay inside, you don't want to make yourself worse. Oh you should curl up and read a book or watch some old movies. Oh have you ever seen the movie "Flipped"? if you have not may I suggest it its a really cute movie. If you have a sore throat I find popsicles are great for easing the pain they also bring down your temperature. Have you bought anything new to add to your fashion collection?

GET WELL, Rebecca! Being sick is the worst.

Of course, your sickness sounds a lot like mine when I get colds (due to my immune system being stupidly weak from the lupus)... I curl up in the fetal in bed and stare at my phone listlessly, hoping for someone to tweet at me or write me emails to save me from my despondent loneliness. LOL.

Lately my sickness has been from the cold, but in the form of joint pain. My back feels like someone punched me. I can barely get poked without screaming in pain. BLARGH.

We're in the same boat. Let's get better soon!

Sending mental hugs!

I had a cold only a month ago and I already feel like I've gotten another one, although it may just be really bad allergies. Anyway, I don't know what cold medicine you're taking, but the only thing that actually works in Dayquil and the like is the tylenol. Phenylephrine (decongestant) and dextromethorphan (cough suppressant) are pretty much proven useless! I just lay low with a box of tissues and some medicated lip balm for my chapped nose.

I hope you feel better by now! I'm with my first cold too, and yes I feel like being a couch potato too! :) You look great! I love the outfit head to toe, but especially the bag and the jacket! I have a similar one, only a bit longer.

Right now I'm in that awkward 'not quite sick but getting there' phase. It is horrid!
One cold down, fifty more for the season to go.

Aside, you look impeccable as always.

It seems as if everyone has their first cold! I think for college students it's because of stress.

Still loving the haircut!

That dress is so detailed and pretty! I'm in the same boat as you,I have my first cold of the season. I'm thinking about just sticking toilet paper up my nose and leaving it :)

P.S. I've been telling my friends about your train car photos. I think all we have around here is empty, abandoned cargo trains. You lucky dog.

I love your outfit, but as my mom would say: you shouldn't walk around without a cardigan when you're having a cold! ;) Hope you will get better soon!
