The Rock Island Line Is The Road To Ride

These pictures were taken in the narrow hallway of the abandoned sleeping car I discovered earlier. It's a very eerie space with moody lighting and every sound you make echoes loudly. The perfect place for a Halloween party...minus all the broken glass. Also, I recently got myself a little instant camera and it's so fun to be shooting in film again, especially with such immediate results. I can't wait to use it more and I even want to dig my old 35mm out of storage and start using that as well.

Outfit details:
PJ by Peter Jensen sweater
Shakuhachi dress
Jeffrey Campbell heels
*instax mini photo by my father

You're so cute! As usual ^^
I love this red sweater, it's funny with this horse!
And this place is definitely great to take photos.
Actually it remind me of some friends of mine 's work, they are taking photos in abandoned places like this (you can see some here http://www.marchandmeffre.com/detroit/ , they published a book about Detroit last year ^^).

Très joli!

I love the colours of this outfit and the location is cool for sure, though a little creepy as well... Perfect for October!

I love that you are never scared to explore new photo spots!

I would be interested in hearing more about your photography process. Do you traipse around with a tripod or do you have an assistant?

that "polaroid" is super eerie! what a cool space to have access to though.

I'm still on the look out for some mary janes like these but I fear I may have missed my chance.

What an eerie little place indeed, but sure makes for a great contrast with your adorable outfit! That sweater is darling & great w/ the plaid dress. Your hair is so cute too, great longer bob cut & love the color.

Seriously loving the abandoned train...so cool.

@BdgBill, as stated in my profile: I take all of my own pictures. I do use a tripod and the self-timer function; I'm usually completely alone & definitely don't have an assistant! But on certain occasions I do have help & then it's always credited; like the instant photo at the end of this set was taken by my father. I'm big on crediting photographers.

Another horse sweater to add to your collection! How about doing a post to showcase all your outfits with horses? You are so brave to go to an abandoned sleeping car alone for your photos! These photos look amazing.

I actually want to visit this abandoned train with you... It looks so magical and creepy.

I love that hallway. It really gives dimension.

It also makes me think that if the train were in commission today, most of America could not fit in that hallway. And then that makes me very, very sad.
