Evening's Coming Home

It's funny how collegiate and uniform-inspired this outfit seems when I didn't even style it that way intentionally. I dress more like a student now than I did while I actually was one. But pleated skirts and cardigans like this one have endless appeal. The convenience of a backpack is also sweet when you're climbing around on rocks down by the water.

Outfit details:
vintage cardigan
Dear Creatures dress
secondhand shoes
Rebecca Minkoff backpack

It's interesting how this outfit look like a college student from the side. But from the front, you look so classy.

The cut of the cardi is more blazer-like to me, rather than collegiate. I honestly feel like you dress more professional and mature and sophisticated now than you did while you were at school. At school you were more experimental with your shoots and your outfits, but there was this young, girlish element to them, and you're much more lady-like and grown up now.

I love both styles, but you know I adore you regardless of what you wear.

I love your outfit, the cardigan has such a beautiful color (but I guess I'd already commented that once). The colors of the sunset on the lake are also beautiful, looks like a perfect calm evening.
