Teddy Girl

This outfit is as close to "borrowing from the boys" as I get. I definitely admire that style in others, but it's not one I'm very comfortable emulating myself. However, how could I resist a slightly "Teddy Girl" inspired outfit with this vintage sweater and these horse embroidered loafers? I really wish there was more information and stories published about the small community of Teddy Girls, because they sound like some seriously cool ladies.

Outfit details:
vintage sweater
Modcloth blouse (from last year)
UO shorts
By Paige loafers
vintage Coach satchel

Lovely outfit! I like the jacket!! But I think a skirt would go better with it... You don't look as comfortable in this outfits as in others (for example dresses).
anyway awesome photos!

Those loafers and that cardigan, absolutely adorable! I actually didn't know what or who Teddy Girls were until I read this, but now I wish there were more information out there about them too.

Love the outfit! I think that some people pull off the "boyfriend" look really well, but I don't really feel comfortable that way, either... I'm a total girly girl, and plus I just don't have the build for the oversized pieces, etc.

And I know it's already been said several times, but those loafers are amazing!

I have a sweater just like that, but different colors--it was my grandpa's letterman jacket. The stripes mean something, but I can't remember...

Anyway, fantastic outfit!
