Beware Of All Enterprises That Require New Clothes

I think mustard will be one of my big colors this fall. I don't really plan out color palettes for the season, but I do often find myself drawn to a certain shade. It's always a subconscious collecting of pieces in a certain color; I never notice what I'm doing until I have a pile of items in the same color and then I start to wonder. This summer I wore a lot of red dresses and right now, I keep finding wonderful mustard yellow pieces for fall. It's probably too early to tell what color will dominate my closet this fall (I'd like it to be purple or dark teal), but I do think this shade of yellow will have a presence. This skirt is not new, I actually remixed it here.

Mustard always remains a firm favourite in my wardrobe, I love bringing it out in Autumn to match the leaves!

Rebecca, I haven't visited your blog for a while which was an absolute crime as I can now see. You are amazing, such an inspiration - the photographs, the writing...I remember when you left a comment on my blog I almost squealed. I really admire you, honestly.

Wow, that grazing horse ring is stunning! I know what you mean about inadvertently being drawn to certain colors every season. This fall I find myself drawn to everything wine-colored (shoes, dresses, etcetera).

The mustard and blue look so lovely with your hair!

I looooove mustard, one of my favorite fall colors. For some reason, I'm really into the rust/burnt-orange color this fall, too, which is weird, because I've never liked it!

I love this colour but it's much maligned here in New Zealand. People just don't know what to do with it or how to react! Last time I wore this colour, my workmates were shouting "Colonel Mustard with the candlestick in the ballroom!"

you look wonderful!

I find myself doing the same thing! I have bought three mustard items in one day. I love what you're wearing, and I just have fallen in love with that skirt more and more ever since I've seen it! You look stunning, I love your rings as well!
