The Space Between

I bought this dress over a year ago and wore it few times then forgot about it. Even in a carefully color-coded closet like mine, things can temporarily disappear. I think this is an indication I need less black in my wardrobe. Regardless, I'm quite glad the dress decided to resurface because it certainly is a fun one to wear. It reminds me of Proenza Schouler F/W 2010. Sort of dark schoolgirl vibes; a mix of edginess and naivete that really doesn't get boring. I think I should find a petticoat to wear underneath it to make the skirt even fuller and more dramatic.

Outfit details:
Cheap Monday dress
OPI nail polish

That is truly an amzing dress! The lace detailing is what really makes the dress and adding the bandeu bra made it appear less risque. Very chica!

The dress is the perfect mix of gothic and romantic. And I can understand why your closet is overflowing with black pieces; black looks lovely with your vibrant red hair!

You look so ephemeral and poetic in this lace dress.

I really want to color-coat my closet. I had it so in the past, but I get so lazy..

That dress is super hot! I love the pretty lace details and the cut is just perfect. I hope you find a petticoat to wear with it. The only thing is, is that most petticoats that I've come across are really high-waisted so you may see the top of the petticoat through the lace.

The dress, and how you styled it, is lovely.
I'm also glad to know I'm not the only one who organizes according to color!
