With spring (and days that feel like full-blown summer), I've been updating more than just my wardrobe. Sometimes it's the subtle changes outside of dresses and skirts that make an outfit feel more seasonally appropriate. Since I've been wearing loads of blue I changed my nail color to bright orange; a little color contrast is a good thing. I also switched my lipstick from my usual red to a vivid fuchsia, thanks to a package from Lime Crime. It feels much more spring-appropriate and I love the brightness of this lipstick.

The blue in your dress is gorgeous, but the contrast I like best is between the blue-red of the lipstick and the orange of your nails. The combination is quite unusual and has a lovely fresh feel!

I just bought some similar myself but mine are a wedge so I would feel very justified in buying this pair since clearly they are a completely different type of shoe....

Plus, pink vs. red and orange are a nicer alternative than wearing something too directly neighboring in the same color family. Blue based hues as opposed to red based hues next to red and orange... So yeah.

I was never one to wear lipstick...but now I've become obsessed with them. The few I have, I've been wearing to death..I just ordered an orange one, so we'll see how it goes! It does put a finishing touch on your outfits some times!
