There is a beauty and mystery to nature that we often try to make sense of and too often forget to enjoy. I enjoy stories of the Loch Ness monster as much as I like seeing a flock of birds fly overheard. Illustrator Lizzy Stewart seems to have a similar appreciation for the world. Describing her work in her own word, "I want it to be kind of ambiguous. Each image is sort of a capture of a single (fictional) moment and whatever came before or comes after is a mystery so you have to wonder how that situation came to be. Gosh, no that sounds silly. It’s about bears. Mainly it’s about bears."
