I do try to avoid talking about the weather too much here on the old blog, but I must say it has been really lovely lately. It was a very long, very cold winter (made to feel longer and colder by a drafty house that left me wearing a coat indoors!) and it's so nice to see the sunshine and feel warmth again. Such weather does encourage laziness though, as I often find myself unmotivated to do much more than sit in the sun and read...

Ever since moving to San Francisco four months ago I can count two days that were nice enough to dress pretty springy. It's constantly pretty cold here...I honestly did not realize it would be like this. I'm longing for warm weather!

I LOVE the saltwater sandals - how are they size/fit-wise? I am thinking of ordering a pair, but it's so difficult when you can't try them on. Are they very comfy???
