Like A Rose Pressed In A Book

Nice weather definitely improves my mood. Something about sunny days and liberated legs that makes the future seem rosy and optimistic. Sitting on a nice front porch in a rocker with a book (like an old lady) is another good thing. This is not my front porch in the photographs (ours is slightly less impressive), but rather that of a historic building next to our home that always strikes me as quite pretty. Porches in spring and summer are quite wonderful things...

I am absolutely in love with a crochet dress. Perfect! The coral also works nicely with your hair.

Also, LOVE porches. Instant recipe for old lady awesome fun. Just throw in some gardening and Arnold Palmers and it's my ideal summer.

I love your blog and all the clothes you wear! You are truly an inspiration! And I saw a store that said "clothes horse" would that be your store?

@uniquecollision, thank you and no; there are a number of stores (physical storefronts & webshops) that have the name "the clothes horse" & no relation to me. Tons of webshops popped up after I was blogging for a couple of years. :)

I know just what you mean about good weather and liberated legs... it's snowing here so I'm quite jealous. ;)

Oh the coral dress is so pretty on you. Are you actually bare legged? I wish I could go bare legged over in the UK right now! The historical house is gorgeous, those steps leading up to the porch is really impressive!

I love everything about this outfit! The little trench is too cute, and I love the colour of that dress. The satchel compliments the whole look perfectly. So lovely!

I wish that was my front porch too. It'd be so nice on a day like today, to just sit outside:)

Your dress is such a gorgeous color on you.
