This dress has become one of my favorites items to just throw on and walk out the door. Some people would consider it a bit fancy for everyday wear, but I'm drawn to how comfortable it feels on and the classic shape. Separates that seem more casual often require require more effort than their onepiece "fancy" counterparts. With sandals and a tote bag, I think it's dressed-down enough for a day by the water.

I agree, things that are casual sometimes require much more thought. I too like to wear my 'fancy' things everyday. Even if I'm only bumming around the house with Baby! I want to inspire her!

In terms of comfort and easiness, one piece looks or dresses will always win! Never understood the idea that separates are automatically more casual. I've never understood jeans either. I mean, I love them, but I've never understood why people say they're comfortable- they are not comfortable.

I agree that dresses are so much simpler and more comfortable than more causal multi-piece outfits. All you have to do is add shoes and you are pretty much done - what could be simpler?

I just had to tumble one of these photos cause they are so wonderful! (with proper credit, of course) They make me miss the beach.. And I love a simple tote with some cute flat sandals and a dress like that! Also, you always have the best gif's. I've yet to make one... haha
