The Twilight Sound

Isn't this spot so lovely? It reminds me of the lake I used to visit in Fort Lewis, but sadly there is no dock here for picnics...not that I ever had a picnic on the dock in Fort Lewis, but I imagined several in my head. I dwell in my mind quite a bit and that reality is oftentimes more interesting than this one...
P.S. My knit headband/turban is by Janelle Haskin and you can get 10% off at her shop with code "CLOTHESHORSE."

You look adorable! What colour is your hair as I am thinking of going that shade tomorrow and buying the dye beforehand! If you could let me know yours I would be eternally grateful. Its gorgeous! X

Your dress looks like an old master painted it directly onto the material himself...

@Clara Alicia, I dye my hair with a demi-permanent every few months to make it redder (no specific brand or color). However, I haven't dyed it in nearly 6 months (demis fade out), so this is my natural color.

Creo que lo único que me incomoda un poco de la ropa es que el vestido es como de verano, peor aun asi se te ve excelente! :D

Imagination is the best universe in which to dwell. I'm in my head a lot, but it appears my universe is a lot more verbal (physical words as well as whispered ones) than visual. But I agree. Dwelling internally can often be more rewarding and intriguing than the external world.

Your post on Vlckova reminds me of the photography of Rebekka Gudleifsdottir (Gooth-leefs-doh-teer) Rebekka Gudleifs.com. Her jumping photos are both surreal and mysterious as they are wistful and fantastic.

I hope you like her!

You always find the best spots for photos. I love how secluded this looks, like you could go there and look at the lake and not be bothered. You look darling, of course.

Oh that is a lovely spot! I forgot it wasn't the same lake till you pointed it out. :)

Your dress is simply lovely. I am so in love with swing-y, floral dresses lately. <3
