While I was in New York for fashion week with Tumblr, there was a camera crew following us around shooting a documentary (led by this guy). At first it was a bit odd, but the crew ended up being so awesome I was just as sad saying goodbye to them as I was to the other bloggers. They were just really fun and easy to talk, as well as being so creative and interesting. On our last busy fashion week day, some of us turned the cameras on them and asked if we could use them as props for our outfit pictures. Joelle was kind enough to take the pictures for me and since the crew turned it into interview time as well, there were some funny facial expressions going on! I'm very expressive while speaking, which is just one of the many reasons I don't make talking videos.
When I stopped by Lauren Moffatt's studio, I mentioned needing a cool party dress for the TumblrxPaper Magazine closing party and was promptly asked if I would like to borrow a dress--the obvious answer was yes! I immediately honed in on this poppy piece with its velvet and beaded trim. The fact it had pockets just made it even better! So, this is the lovely dress she let me borrow and I was rather sad to return...

Well, honestly, it looks like one really good time, all around. I think I'd be really conscious about having cameras following me until the last minute, and then it would be over in a heart beat. That's just how I am.

PS. I hate how I talk in videos because I have a weird mid-west + southern California accent hybrid and I'm very self-conscious of my chipmunk front teeth. Plus my mouth moves really strangely when I speak.
