Paint It Colorful

There's something about wearing a bright, colorful outfit that just makes me so happy and a little juvenile as well! It seems like mostly children wear really colorful ensembles and our palette becomes more muted with age. So whenver I overload on primaries in my wardrobe I feel some sort of connection to my youth (because you know I'm secretly an old lady!). A bright outfit is also quite uplifting during the winter days..and everything feels better when I'm being swallowed alive by a cozy scarf.

oooo love it! I desperately need some bright colored sweaters. Winter is getting much too drab. I'm also pretty in love with your shoes. So pretty!

I love the boldness of this outfit - I particularly love the shade of the chunky, blue scarf.

These colors look so pretty together! my favorite pairing of all time is yellow and blue, but the olive coat really adds to it as well. Very chic :)

The combination of Yellow, Bright Blue, and Sage Green plus grey accessories is a really great cool and warm palette to punch you in the face and wake you up from the blahs of winter. I am really excited about this outfit.

Big scarves and incredibly colored coats really are such a must have in winter.

You look amazing. That scarf... wondrous.

Beautiful color pairings! I always feel like I should only wear bright colors together in warm weather, but that needs to change! I'm officially inspired!

I really like colorful outfits myself. They make me feel happy, and giggly. I think they really do bring out the child in people.

I kind of remember back in the day (wow, seems so long ago) when dressing in crazy color schemes was the "in" thing in the w_r community. Haha. Or was I imagining that? Well, I always enjoyed those, and I do feel like my outfits have significantly dropped on the color scale in the last couple of years. You just inspired me to revisit my old photos and see what I can come up with! (:

Love your colourful ensemble! I was chatting to my aunt the other day and she told me that she does not wear much bright colours since she has gotten older. I wonder why that is? I think it's silly when people say things like "I'm older now, I can't ... anymore"

what a great outfit! I love the bright colours, but also the similar tones of the dress and coat. It calms things down without losing all that colour ♥

Wonderful hues and tones in this outfit! I like that you didn't choose red, yellow, blue and kind of tweaked it. Nice!
