Drop A Tear In The Ocean

It is quite miserably cold and windy, but I still can't resist a good jaunt outside. As much as I clearly am attached to my computer, I really enjoy removing myself from all those modern distractions and just walking around in a meditative state. It's far too majestic outside to allow myself to be penned indoors all of the time.

You're insanely lucky to live in such wonderful places with great outdoors to roam about in and take fantastic photos. Near my house is nothing but stripmalls and traffic lights and more apartment parking shelters and piles of dirty snow.

Any place that could even barely match the majesty of where you live (in WA, too) would be a 20 minute drive and not worth an hour of my time to try to snap a handful of mediocre photos. You, on the other hand, snap beautiful photos in beautiful places.

I envy you that.

I, however, will stay indoors at the comfort and safety of my computer. :)

The dress is beautiful. I'd love to have one like this to add to my dress challenge. And I'd love to live in a place where I could walk to such large water.

The colors of the coat and the dress are so perfect together.

Getting outside every day is so important. Even if just for a little while. So many huge societal issues stem from everyone holing up indoors. It's bitter and miserable in Pittsburgh but I am thankful for the fresh air I get when I venture out.

Those peat moss blocks/rocks--well, whatever they are--look so, so cool. A perfect backdrop for an outfit shot!

Lovely outfit, Rebecca! I agree on getting out and about - if I don't get enough fresh air everyday I feel really miserable.

This is a great example of how to wear brights in the winter. I love your combination of cerulean and chartreuse... it feels so fresh! Bye bye, winter blahs. :)
