I was going to buy myself this coat after the holidays, but once I saw it I couldn't get it out of my head. In my mind I started comparing all of my current coats to this beauty and finding them lacking in comparison. So, I decided to buy it now rather than later. I just love the color and the faux fur collar (which is detachable); it's the kind of coat I envision myself wearing for many years...of course, I always feel that way with my coats each year and then a new one catches my eye. However, if this winter continues to stay as blustery and chilly as it has been so far, I'm certain to get a lot of wear out of all my coats.P.S. That is a lovely coat! I have yet to find a good deal for a coat that catches my eyes instantly with a faux far collar.
I wonder if we have a fixation with coats because coats are like adding another dress on top of an outfit? It completely changes a look, and is a look in and of itself.

But it's too cold here for anything not a parka with loads of down.

At first, I didn't like the color, but I loved the style, but now that I look at it, I actually like the color too! It is a sort of army green, but its not something you see often! Love it =) I like your gloves too!
