Plain White Walls

Our new home, courtesy of military housing, is really fun to explore in it's barren state and with the air conditioning going it is a nice oasis from the sweltering 90+ temperatures outside (the heat is melting the style out of me and I keep dreaming of fall layers). I'm loving the numerous windows, plain white walls and glossy wood floors; everything just feels clean and spacious. I may just become one of those "plain white wall" bloggers who pose indoors against...erm, plain white walls.

I like this change of pace on your blog. It's fun to try something new and as simple as the walls around you. I love the shape of your dress -- it's really pretty. Hope you're enjoying your new home!

You look lovely...it will be interesting to go from wide open nature to plain white walls...definitely mix it up but I LOVE your photos with wide open forest/lake/farm behind you!

I think just about every style blogger I know began taking blurry photos with a plain wall background indoors! It's fun to look back at each of our beginnings and see how far we've come.

Simple but still very chic outfit! High ballerina buns always make any look high-fashion!

I love how your outfit looks simple, yet so elegant. I really love your shoes - I must admit I have a thing for stacked heels x

Wow, it looks so clean. What I really find interesting about American people is that you like to change place of living and do this often. It seems so fun.

Lovely outfit!

Peace and love!

It does look clean and fresh - and your chic yet simple outfit fits in perfectly. Much as I do love your landscape shots, this wouldn't be a bad backdrop now and then! :)

Your new home looks so clean and bright! Many of the military houses in my area are nowhere near that nice.
And wow at those shoes!

How are the heels, in terms of quality and comfort? I've never been sure about F21 shoes. They're certainly cute. :)

@enna. these shoes are awful! I'm actually considering giving them up, but part of me wonders if I will get used to them... I think they're a little too steep and the material isn't very comfortable. For now, I'm only wearing them on days I don't have to walk much!

I'm loving the dress and send some sun/heat this way. It's definitely Autumn over here...scarves and layers are all coming out to play!

I wish I had a bare wall in my house! It's gonna be tough to get out and take pics when it dips down cold in the winter!

Your new house looks light, airy and wonderful! I bet it feels nice to at least be settled somewhere - even if you are still living out of a suitcase.

As always a great outfit! Whenever you show off your tattoos I have the urge to get inked.

I wish I could be a plain white wall blogger! I just really like the simple wall plus pretty wood floors...
My house doesn't have a single white wall though.
I hope you like your new house! :)

Nothing like a plain white wall! And nothing like those shoes! HULLO! This outfit is just so simple and chic and delightful. Adore it. And adore your tattoos. Gosh I love them very very much! Almost (not quite) as much as my own! ;-)

As for plain white wall blogging, I do hope not. I adore your nature/outfit photos. They satisfy two of my greatest passions: being outside and wearing pretty clothes! I actually wish I could do my photos more like yours...and sometimes I try! But mostly it isn't so easy with a baby. But one day he'll get bigger and take my photos for me...because that's what motherhood is all about, right? ;-)

I have to admit, I'm still a little jealous that you move frequently - perhaps it's not all it's cracked up to be, but coming from someone that's never been away from the same home for more than a week...

Anyway, your shoes are so glorious.

I love the simple elegance of this outfit. It is a good reminder that sometimes less is more and every outfit deserves to be blogged. :D Thanks.

Some times plain walls work wonders with outfits and they come in handy when its bad weather but I love your location shoots! Have fun in your new home x

This is a great change of pace for you--love the clean lines and simplicity! but..I also love your glorious outdoor shots, as your scenery is so inspiring. I completely relate to the heat draining the fashion out of you--it has done the same to me; in fact, I have been a very sporadic blogger all summer long..and unfortunately here where I live, the 100+ degree temps still persist *heavy sigh*. I have been dreaming of crisp temperatures and layers for months..with them I feel my inspiration will re-emerge! :)

lovely dress and shoes btw.. very Audrey Hepburn-esque, which is a look I so admire.
