London Street Style

So, the day I decided to take some street fashion picturess was filled with complications: my lack of courage, rain (fact: people don't feel like standing in a downpour for pictures), and so on. However, with the help of Kristabel I did manage to snap a number of stylish people. It was a lot of fun in the end and I wish I could have gotten more!

Ahhh Liverpool Street! That's my London termini and there's a lot of stylish people around with nearby Brick Lane, Shoreditch etc as well as all the dull grey city suits. Well done on being brave enough to capture some of it

Beth and Lucy are so so cute! And I love Lois' pink hair! I'm sort of coveting fancy hair colors at the moment. I want!

I hope you're having a lovely time o your trip miss!

Oh I'm so glad you did it! You picked some great people to ask. I can't believe how young some of them were, they looked much older. I wish I had style like that when I was 15! I wore some hideous things hah!
Next, street style Paris? Go on! haha x

Ah they came out great, I especially love the last girl, it's a good thing we carried on despite the rain! I love the cross section of people we saw; a decent reflection of London style and the mixture of trends and individuality. I'd love to see some from Paris too...maybe I'll try some during Fashion Week?

An Adorable Cliché said...

I love the one of Beth and Lucy...did you just stop random people in the street and ask to take their photo? haha I would NEVER have enough courage to do that!

I did my dissertation on street style photography, three months of taking pictures.
It's so hard to get over the nerves and everyone thinking you're a charity working. just be confident and have a strong coffee/lots of sugar before you start shooting! Also wear a scarf..

You have quite the eye for stylish gals. I love so many of these! Beth & Lucy are adorable together; Amy's floral romper is killer; and I'd wear Indigo's exact outfit in a second. I hope there's more to come!

P.S. Thanks so much for your supportive and kind comment. I realize that that post may have sounded like a pity party, but I'm really quite happy with where I am! Or I suppose I'm happy at the prospect of the future. I'm very hopeful.

I'm so glad you were able to get street style pics! And these women are incredible. So fashion-forward, and at such young ages! I was nowhere near that cool (and I'm still not!) at age 15.

Wow, I didn't know you were in London! Have fun! I can't believe you found a girl that wore socks with a skirt and heels. I've been thinking about toying with that trend, but I'm too nervous it will make my calves look big...

I'm also a bit shy to go up to someone to ask for their picture but it seems like people in London are pretty comfortable with having themselves photographed! And how could they not be, they dress so well! I only wish I was that stylish when I was 15!

Wow, I love all of these! I went to this great craft fair the other day and I wanted so badly to get some streetstyle pictures but I just got really embarrassed.. haha

I think that is the major thing i love about getting out of my small town: seeing the clothing choices people make.

I think Na Wen and Connie are my favourites. I want to dress this way in everyday life, but I can't afford it, because I'd have to quit my day job at my office.

I love their fresh, funky vibe. Carefree hair styling and thoughts to prints and layers.
