It's nice when the oh-so-serious art world has some artists who aren't afraid to have a bit of fun...even at the expense of long-dead strangers. Is it wrong that I want to copy Sophie Backall and similarly deface some vintage photographs? If I could find some large ones and mutilate them thusly they would make for perfect decoration for my first real apartment...which I am already decorating although I won't be getting it until next fall...

This is hilarious, especially since I collect vintage photos like these. I would love to do something like this to the ones of the really weird goat looking man pictures (it must have been a style back in the day), but I would have a harder time with the ladies.
