Remix Grrrl

I decided to challenge myself a bit with this remix by choosing a dress that was less flexible than my usual pieces to remix. This is my Triptych dress which I bought at The Olive Shoppe and already wore earlier this week (I kinda want to wear it every day...). With a bit of imagination I managed to transform it; I even wore it backwards which makes the zipper detail take center stage and should make exiting a room pretty fun!

details: We Love Colors tights, Seychelles heels

details: secondhand leather skirt, Cynthia Rowley tights via Gilt, Seychelles booties

details: worn backwards, vintage feather fascinator, UO wedges

details: DIY bubble hem with safety pins, H&M leggings and wedges

details: Modcloth blouse, Miss Sixty heels via Gilt
P.S. I entered this remix in a contest on Chictopia. If you like it please give it a chic vote or add it as your favorite there. Thank you!

I agree with Marianna. Your remixing is so inspiring, and also really, really, really tough to do...

I think it's just the creative way your brain works, which tells me you will definitely be a good lawyer, if you decide to go that route. You always know how to think around a given situation or shape, see its possibilities and know how to make other outcomes. That's something most people don't naturally do. It makes you more versatile as a person and as a thinker.

I admire that about you.

The dress worn backwards is definitely my favourite look, because it's edgy with the exposed zipper, which can go low, low, low, and then there's a ferocious surprise in the back!

I also like the bubble hem! Hello, legs!

XX.

Wow! You did a great job with this! I admit, I was a tad bit skeptical, (I mean, there's a huge tiger on this dress), but you really pulled it off in a tremendous way. Ok, I'm a fan, you get my vote!

I absolutely LOVE your remixes, everything looks so different and fresh despite it being the same dress.

And none of them look like they were DIY, they all look like the dress was MEANT to be worn that way!
