I wish I had made the effort to paint my nails red before snapping these pictures, but this dress arrived in the mail and I just couldn't wait to wear it. Yes, it does look like that Kane dress, but it's not that dress! This one is from a brand called Triptych and I found it at The Olive Shoppe (it was the only one available). My mother called the dress frightening, but I'm not taking that descriptor as a negative (also remind me to wear my hair up if I actually want to show a dress off). Beyond the awesome print I love the shape and fabric of this dress--and like so many good dresses it has pockets!

I love this- a much cuter, creative, more fun take on the overdone wolf shirt.
(and a much more grown-up and wearable take on the little mermaid dress I once made out of bedsheets and had a very hard time getting rid of... haha)
