Ice Queen

The ever amazing Neneee has made another stunning dress. It was inspired by the dress she made with me, but this one is in a lightweight brocade--making it an ideal summer party dress (or day dress if, like me, you don't have parties to attend!). The recent Balenciaga Resort collection (which came out after this dress was made) has a similar feel to me. More clothes made from one print in multiple colors please! The colors are a little unusual for me, but it is a nice, icy palette for warm and bright summer days. It is finished up with some killer details I love: pockets and a low-back.

Outfit details:
vintage hat
secondhand ring and bracelet
Bijules bird ring via Gilt
self-mixed nail polish

I love your clothing with two different sides (like the other dress and that really cool cardigan). It makes me want to try something like that, just to see if I could look so effortless in it too.
And, although you said that was an odd color for you, I like the icy tones on you.

You strike me as a modern day Jackie O.

But more edgy.

This beautiful dress on you reminds how amazing you pull off vintage inspired looks. Don't get me wrong, you can rock any look (at least the ones you post-) well, and can look cool and contemporary, but you do vintage so well. Dreamy.

I love brocade. I have a whole brocade Indian traditional dress that I made off my mom's saree and its a lovely onion color. But its so heavy I can't wear it in this heat! If only I had made a pretty little frock out of it!

Love the minty color. It suits you very well.

this dress is made up of my favorite colors! i saw a pic of this on calivintage's twitter and had to come here for a closer look. it's even better the more i see of it- like the fact that it makes a perfect frame for your tattoos in back. and it goes so well with a field of daisies. ~joelle
