Moats, and Boats, and Waterfalls

the clothes horse, vintage, retro, black dress, military jacket, fashion blog, personal style, multnomah falls, oregon, washington
I am not the best tour guide (partly because I have only lived here for about a year) and I have a terrible sense of direction which means even when I attempt to lead a tour I will likely lead everyone astray. Despite this I attempted to visit every beautiful place I know while my friend was visiting. We hiked on Mt. Rainier, around Puget Sound's more quiet corners, explored abandoned military bunkers, caught some of the local music, and ate a lot of chocolate in between. These pictures are from our trip down to Oregon for a brief visit of Portland and Multnomah Falls. We got lucky with the weather and as always, the waterfalls were gorgeous.

Wow, I love these pictures. So beautiful. Reminds me of, well, HOME. And this outfit is so great. Love the teal with the forest. Forests make such great backdrops! I should go out to the woods more myself for photo ops. Maybe when my son is older..

ps. the second pic is truly amazing.

ps ps Loved seeing what was in your purse. Adore this sort of thing. And I must tell you, I am so glad I am not the only person left in the universe who reads poetry. I seriously only know one person in real life who does! Blogging is so nice that way.
