Wanderlusting Dreams

I'm not usually one for wishlist posts, but I am a bit of a dreamer and lately, wanderlust has been making me to look up plane tickets for faraway destinations; which is both unrealistic and out of my price range. However, as long as I am planning dream vacations in my mind, I might as well pack some suitable chimera suitcases.
If I returned to Japan, Tokyo would certainly be a must, but Osaka is actually the city I would love to visit again the most. I remember Osaka as having the best sort of "vibe." It's rather indescribable, but a few features were cool people, fun style, and amazing food.

Marc by Marc Jacobs blazing star dress, Kate Spade Klicks, Mulberry Alexa

Budapest is another city with wonderful atmosphere, although I would have to visit in the summer the second time around since I found the winter frightfully cold. My favorite site there were the catacombs and it would be fantastic to attend a party in the catacombs while wearing something appropriately gothic-inspired.
Stella McCartney lace dress, Stella McCartney cape, Christian Louboutin booties

I've never been to Paris since I don't count layovers (who would?), but I would love to visit that city one day. France always conjures up images of timeless chic to me and I imagine my wardrobe for there would be an understated mix of black and white (that certainly would make packing simple).
Ferragamo bow flats, Anna Sui tiger cardigan, Twinkle by Wenlan striped dress

I love the idea of specific wishlists for travel. Right now, I really want to go to Trinidad. I would bring several stylish bathing suits, and lots of loose casual dresses. Plus something wild to wear if I went for Carnival.

I have been obsessing of the blazing star dress too! I couldn't decided which color I liked better though...
Love them all, and the Alexa bag!
It is always gun to plan which a specific city in mind because then you know the atmosphere etc.

Those Ferragamos are some of the prettiest I've ever seen. and I love Stella's lacey creations. oof I feel like you've been to so many places already! Paris is SO BEAUTIFUL, at least from the view on the Eiffel Tower. Some sketchy people tried to intimidate/mug my tour group...not so glamorous. :(

Paris in the springtime would be a lovely place to be right this moment.
I also love how everything corresponds, form the city to the picture to the outfit.

That is exactly why I love visiting Paris. Packing is easy: black and white. I'm traveling to Paris again this summer and can't wait!

What a wonderful idea to pick what you'd take along to different cities!

P.S. Paris is wonderful, but kind of crowded and dirty. Not near as sparkly as I'd pictured. There's something to be said for cities off the beaten path.

P.P.S. I do wish I could comment on all your posts. I often want to respond, but there's not a way. It seems silly to respond to one post in the comments section of another.

It's funny you've posted this because I've been having a serious case of wanderlust lately. (Probably because the Italy and French classes just took their trips from my school!) I've been itching to see all of Japan since forever (so lucky you got to see it!) along with returning to Florence, seeing Madrid or Barcelona, Paris, Taipei, and London. (And now I've added New Zealand!)
Sadly my travel opportunities probably won't arise until my junior year of college!

I love the Osaka outfit, but if I had to choose between the 3 places, I think the catacombs in Hungary would be an interesting experience!

The Osaka outfit is so cute! I always love your choice of colors... And I agree that Osaka certainly has some sort of "vibe", which Tokyo lacks.

I too prefer Osaka. Driving through Namba at night time was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan :)

Paris is nice, but Nice is nicer... South of France for LIFE!

That being said, what a darling tiger print on that top! And a catacomb party sound like it's right up my alley... can I come??

oh, I love this! I love the Stella McCartney items especially. Budapest wouldn't know what hit it!

I have the travel bug right now too so I can sympathize. Curious, what cities are top of you list (that you haven't been to)? My top 3 are: Barcelona, Tokyo & Stockholm

I love Japan and can't wait to go back. It's my number one travel goal to take my mom there for a long vacation. I've only ever been to Tokyo and that was years ago. My mom grew up there and I think it would be amazing for her to be able to take me to the places she remembers.

Mmm a black-and-white colour scheme for Paris...I think Chanel would approve.

Beautiful all, but I'd definitely love to be out and about in that France-inspired ensemble...

I'm going to Paris for the first time (on business) and everyone says it is "crowded and dirty." I don't mind crowds, but I hate dirt! But it's like having a baby, have to go through with it. Can you believe it? Everyone is dying to go to Paris except MOI!
