This outfit feels a little dryad inspired, which makes me want to read poetry while perched on a moss-covered tree branch. If it was more spring-like in the weather here, I might just spend some time outside reading, but alas it is cold and the sky is threatening to rain. This is the tragic difference between fantasy and reality and why I tend to dress for the former.

It's spring weather here, and although I've been outside reading, I've been reading my notes because I've got exams fast approaching. :(
Lovely outfit. THe headband is so so pretty. And as always, I adore your rings. I really hope I can get some unique rings this summer.
Gosh I LOVE those shoes!! and I like the splash of colour in the tights :) England is pretty much the same too atm, although hopefully tomorrow should be better weather - cannot wait to see some sunshine xx
your hair looks wonderfully red in these photos
its my fav. from ur dresses ;)
I really like that vintage fascinator!
HAH! I own the same dress. I always find it amusing when people own a same item as me, because everyone combines it differently.
I love the entire colour combination. Those tights and shoes are gorgeous! And I like the decoration in your hair.
The weather over here is cold and rainy too. It's starting to annoy me.
Boots make quite a rare appearance on your outfit posts, but my, those are awesome ones!
Great look. I recognized the dress right away as one from H&M because I wanted to get that one! It was totally on sale too :)
It looks great on you. Keep up the good work!
You always have the best hair pieces.
Perfect colors for a woodland walk, just gorgeous.

beautiful headband!
Your post and the photos make me wish once again, for the perfect summer afternoons, when everything around you is almost silent save for the occasional chirping of birds or the rustling of leaves in a sudden breeze.
It would be nice then to just curl up under a huge shadowy tree with a book of poems in your hand and a mind full of fantasies.

I love this purple and maroon thing, it looks so rich and colorful. That headband is gorgeous too!

gorgeous! I love the headband!
Why are your pictures always so amazing :) The headband is adorable! When that sunny weather finally arrives I won't even be able to read outside because I really hate bees and wasps (they are everywhere).
You remind me of a elfin princess here. (That makes it sound like I actually knew one in real life.)
I'm sorry to report that my nearest H&M is in Atlanta, a mere 900 miles away.
I just acquired a similar hat which I'm going to post soon and came here to get my daily dose of your blog and there was one like it! Awesome! love your attire! and those booties are to die for!!
Your dress is really nice.
I LOVE Dryads, but more than that I love this. One of the most exquisite, wondrous shoots you have ever done, I fell in love <3
i have this dress, love the colour tights you have accessorised with.
So whimsical! That hairband and the boots are my favourite parts of this outfit!
I really like dresses and shoes like those :) You look lovely.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I love how saturated the colors are. A very nice contrast to all the pastels you seen in spring.

Sorry for your lack of spring weather, hopefully it'll clear up soon!
Am loving the fascinator, it is very spring inspired and does remind me of some sort of sprite frolicking amongst the trees!
Haha the weather's pretty twisted here too. I love your dress and boots, you definitely look like you've stepped out of a romantic novel!
What a cute pair of shoes! I love them!
I tend to dress for fantasy as well! (Actually I buy a lot for fantasy... Result in some lovely dresses with no appropriate places to wear them!) Loving this look, too bad it was cool and nearly rainy!
I just finished working my way backwards through all of your posts. Seeing how your style has changed over the last couple years was really cool!
oh my ... i am loving your pretty maroon booties (my tootsies are a bit jealous at the moment)
Absolutely brilliant.

your headband and the setting make these photos just dreamy... so lovely!
You always have the best hair pieces. Oh, and the best hair. But I'm trying to stop telling you that because I imagine it's getting on your nerves by now :P
Poetry and trees sounds like a lovely time. Can I come? I'll bring some Donne and a picnic lunch! :)
That has got to be one of my favorite fascinators I've ever seen. I've been scouring for a pretty floral one like this but all the ones I find are super dirty and cheap looking!
great boots!
Your hair is always so amazing. :)
I love the deep rich colors of this outfit!
Loving the mix of colours, the navy looks so pretty with the wine coloured tights :)
This is lovely. I love all these rich colors together. And your fascinator is the perfect accessory. So pretty!
What amazing pics! Kinda remind me of a Wood Nymph. Awesome.

i love all the purple with the little gold accent, its perfect :)
This is so beautiful! The vintage fascinator is so ethereal... have you ever listened to Joanna Newsom? This particular outfit reminds me of her music a lot for some reason. Sort of folktale/fairytale-ish?
Love it!
This is the most ridiculously pretty post I've seen for ages. The beautiful outfit plus the photography.... *sighs* That fascinator is amazing.
Where do you find all your amazing fascinators? They always pull your outfits together perfectly.
