I had thought it was time to retire my winter coats and capes for the year in favor of lighter layers...but I was mistaken. Cold, blustery weather and even snow flurries have shown me the error of my assumptions. Still, I am enjoying all these fall and winter garments, so it is not too much of a burden to continue wearing them for awhile longer. Next thing you know, I will be building fires in the hearth and eating comfort food; i.e. preparing for hibernation...

I have a similar shell ring that a friend brought back for me from her trip to sweden I think. Except that the points are sanded off, it looks like a swirl thats inside. I love that people turn things we take for granted into beautiful objects

i levo the wind blowing in your pictures.. iwhs i was there truly .. here in nyc the weather is 80 degrees ! can you believe and im struggling to work thru my spring wardrobe while i see girls and women walking in flip flops and shorts.
It seems a little warmer here compared to what others are experiencing. I sure hope it gets a little chillier in MD because it definitely feels like summer already! I want my layers!

Love the seashell ring, it's so pretty :) We're coming into winter now and it's still 29c where I am. Although we would never even get close to below 10c in Winter. I would love to someday go somewhere really cold!
