I wasn't lying when I said I wanted to make more videos this spring and luckily I've got a few plots in mind to make some silly little films. This one is quite plotless and pointless, just a peak inside antique mall shopping. Sadly, the only item I walked away with on this particular trip is this video, which my father helped with by shooting a couple of the clips. The song in the background is Janglin by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

This is possibly my new favorite thing! Just watching it made me want to go vintage shopping!! And watching it the second time made me want to go even more =) I gave you an award on my blog =) Check it out

YES!
I love it! I wish more people would make videos. I wish I would make more videos! When I have more time, definitely.
I love love shopping for vintage, virtual shopping is fab too. Going along for the ride on someone else's shopping is almost as good as the real thing. ALMOST.

This is awesome...your outfit fits right in with all the beautiful things in the shop!
This was awesome. I am all for you making more videos!
Haha, I love how you tried on another cape. Also, I think it's neat that your dad helped you out...my dad would be like "What? Why?" which would ultimately lead to "No, thanks."
Super cute. Can't wait to see more videos from you!
Awesome! Makes me want to go antiquing.
This was great.. Looking forward to see more videos from you :D I want to go to vintage shopping too!
Cute! I love how it kind of looks like circus sideshow in there, an impression that's surely helped by your adorable two tone dress!
Great music choice!
xx
Such a cute video! And... capes!!!! Hehehe!! I seriously died when I saw that horse purse btw. It's really sweet of your dad to shoot for you! Reminds me of my dad over the weekend wanting to take outfit shots for me, but I can't seem to act normally when someone (besides myself) is taking a picture of me! Ak!!
That's adorable!
Actually I've been reading your blog for a long time and I think this entry is so impressive that I have to come out!
It really looks like a part of some fashionable TV show.
Keep going, I'll be follow you.

i love it and that song!
love this cute lil vid...you're good at making video! love the fress you wore.
adorable! it gave a fun and quirky way to show just what vintage shopping is like!
Great little video!! I LOVE Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros- seeing them live was one of the best experiences of my life...a lot of soul and quirk in their music- I think they fit that dress perfectly! I'm getting really into film collages, which is how I would categorize this experiment (I hope that doesn't offend!)- it's fun to just play with themes and light and music and wonderful found objects and see how it turns out- I really need to start putting some of my own on my blog- thanks for the inspiration!
This is so nice!
uhhh great... now i want to go shopping!....
yay for antique shopping! i'm going to be doing that this weekend :-)
this is very cute. looks like there are some beautiful and fun finds!
How CUTE are you? It's funny how all antique malls look the same. That one looks like it could be the one in my town.
This video makes me hungry! And what a pretty dress you are wearing. NICE!
aaahh too adorable for words!! :D love it!! make more in the woods! :D

Really loved this video and can't wait to see more! :)
Doesn't need a point to be cute, like the flipping thru photos shot, well done video.
Oooh, lovely video. Your dress is amazing.
Cool video!
I make videos sometimes but they aren't shopping or fashion related. Maybe I should set up a blog just for my random videos.
Love this post, the video is beautiful and so much fun. It reminds me of the start of Amelie a little...

I really loved your interview! I really like your idea of living each day beautifully. Also I agree, the ideal reader of your blog loves shoes but only wears flats and spends too much time online haha love it!
Ohh, that was adorable. I loved it, and the music in it.
Also, that dress is really amazing.
i have that exact belt you tried on!
cute little vid, doll
What an adorable video, you should definitely make more movies if you have the chance :) It was also really cool to get to see your clothes in motion, it helped show off the awesomeness of your new dress. And ahhh, that vintage white lacey cape you tried on was gorgeous!
One of the most delightful things I've seen in a long long time. I love the song, the shots, the dress (even better in action!) have I mentioned that you are ridiculously cute lately? I hope you keep making them!

If only I could go home with that spotty rocking horse you were standing next to! This video full of knick knacks is super fun. The song is amazing.
Oh this was cute!
A good song, too.
AH! That was so much fun to watch! And I really love your nail polish colour. More, more!
So cute! Made me want to go antiquing.
The song works so perfectly. I've been on a pretty large Edward Sharpe and the Magnetics kick as of late and while Janglin often reminds me of like, skipping in the desert, your antique store imagery works equally well with the song.

This is cute, keep filming and shooting!
I love that song in the background. Very fitting.
I never realized, but you have very large and lovely!
This is great! Thanks for sharing :)

Ahh this video makes me want to fill my house with quirky, pointless antiques! I'm surprised you were able to resist all the pretty little things -- I would've hoarded them all! Haha. And it's so sweet of your dad to help you out with your little project. More videos please! :D :D :D
That is so cute. I come from a VERY antiquey town, so I really should be better at vintage shopping.
