The necklace I'm wearing is a gift from the designer behind Dame. It's actually another headpiece to add to my slowly building collection. Like many chain hair accessories it can be worn a variety of ways, such as like a necklace (as you see below). I'm quite excited to don it Cleopatra-style in the near future.

Like Wolves In Winter
I felt very bourgeois in this outfit which means I felt ostentatious, but conceptually I really wanted to do a simple black and white look. It came out nicely, even if I am overdressed for my lifestyle. This white dress is my favorite item lately and ideally I will have a million white dresses to wear this spring. Wouldn't it be perfect to wake up every day to a new airy, alabaster dress? For now, I only have this one and I'm going to ruin it if I continue wearing it in rain-soaked woods, but one can't allow a small thing like location limit them...

I cant get enough of white dresses! It annoys my boyfriend a little; he says it reminds him of our gala uniform in grade school which the girls used for "religious events", so to speak. Haha. But I don't care, there is something magical about a white dress I think! And yours is so lovely paired with fur. (:

The faux fur definitely heightens the glamour, but the sweet dress underneath is no less amazing.

I agree, I think everyone is going through some sort of internal struggle that causes angst, but we never know the depth of it, because our walls and facades are so effective. But like you said, faking it works.
Behaviour conditions attitude, which in turn, conditions behaviour and so on and so forth. If I fake confidence, eventually a measure of it will become reality.
But I have to believe in my own act before it can become real.

Black shoes/tights and a white dress is a great combination. I like how the dark colors really ground something light and airy. I don't have a pink chiffon dress, but if I did, I'd probably try to wear it with something like dark blue tights, just to see if it worked, even at the risk of being cast out as a Barbie Girl reject.
