The Lonely Sea And The Sky

I think I'd enjoy living on the water...like in a houseboat, but only for about a year. It wouldn't be on the ocean (or Puget Sound as pictured below). Instead, I would live on a river. Then, if I ever had to escape the long arm of the law, I would pull up my anchor and let the current tow me away...

I was actually *just* having a conversation with my boyfriend over how nice it would be to live in a boat over the summer. Then we realized that neither of us know how to even drive a boat. Ha!

You're looking adorable as always.

Happy New Year!

I agree with Jennine--this is a really sophisticated look, but I love it on you. It's been wonderful to see your style evolve and grow, but still remain you.

(That shot with the water moving is brilliant.)

If you want to live on a houseboat on a river, you should come to the Netherlands. I actually know a student from my school who lives on a houseboat. From what I know, it's pretty cool :)

I absolutely love that bag. I need one just like that, but I am too picky when it comes to bags, there are just too many styles I don't like and I am not a bagperson in general.

living in seattle, its surprising the number of people i know who live on boats (some on legit house boats, others on actual boats). i guess water does surround the city, and in some cases its much cheaper to live on the water instead of the land. i fantasize about it too.

i love how you matched the gold hues of the scarf with the gold accents in your outfit. i like to do this with all black outfits at well.
