My latest Modcloth dress is actually one of the "Be The Buyer" pieces on their site. For those who don't know: Modcloth has a system where it offers a number of clothes/accessories that viewers can vote on. If there is an outpouring of love for the item, Modcloth will produce and sell it. You can even get an e-mail update if it becomes available, making it possible for you to be one of the first buyers. Essentially, the site is allowing its shoppers to pick the inventory. If it sounds like something you're interested in, visit the Modcloth site and choose what you'd like Modcloth to sell.
So, this BB Dakota dress was voted into the Modcloth inventory by...well, you and me. I was attracted to the bright color (perfect for spring) and the little rosebuds along the hem; I'm a sucker for sweet details, no? Overall, its a very preppy and clean dress and I'm quite pleased with the fabric weight and quality.

R, your hair has gotten really long! I love if when you wear it down like that and show us the brilliance that is your tresses.
This dress works perfectly with your hair colour and complexion.
The thing about the colour is that you could take it out of your closet and wear it all year round. And being that it's YOU wearing it, we know how versatile it will end up being!
I can't wait for this dreariness in MI to end. Sadly, we have no spring. We catapult from Not Really Quite Winter straight into blistering summer heat. It makes me sad I live here.
