Everyone has gotten so wrapped up in the shoes (as they should!), that I hadn't even noticed what spectacular, bedazzled and bejeweled pieces of futuristic galaxies the clothes are.

The coolest collection I've seen in a long time... I love everything about this, from the alien skin dress patterns to the outlandish hair-dos. AND THE SHOES!
I screamed acttualy when I so the collection. The shoes, they scared me, I'm not very sure about the shape, but the ditails are gorgeous, they looks like fishs, gorgeous. The clothes, gorgeous too. Well, is alexander Mcqueen, he always create things like this.
ooo...those shoes are in a scary shape, wonder how the models manage them. But love the colours, seems very aquatic to me, can feel fish scales and corals.
I had never really looked into McQueen's stuff before all the hub-bub about this collection (and his wacky shoes) but I have since been going back into the McQueen archives, and I am IN LOVE. Fall 2009: unbelievable, and then this collection? Wow. Magical.
He's nothing but AMAZING!!! I've seen so many posts about him lately, everyone is going gaga over his collection--it's specatucular! So futuristic, dreamy, sparkly! what's not to go crazy over? And those shoes....OUTRAGEOUS!
Everyone's raving on about this collection and I see why! The shoes are crazy yet strangly appealing! This collection reminds me of animals which I love.
Its a fabulous collection! I have to admit the shoes were the first thing I noticed though!My sister decided they look like giraffe's feet. Did you watch it live? I saw the first few minutes then it started to have problems streaming. My little brother and sister were watching it with me and their comments were hilarious! :)
*scream* i was just looking through images of the show and its so mind blowing. i have to say i was really distracted by the shoes, which i totally would rock if i could but the prints and shapes are just as incredible as well. all of it is incredible.
i completely agree about the shoes coming secondary. i mean, they're innovative yes. but remotely wearable? not even close. the prints were really what amazed me as well.
The shoes scared the hell out of me, everytime I saw a model walking, I was sure she would trip over. But they didn't! Good job. About the collection: wow! I'm screaming with you.

Ha! Gotta say, I really don't get this collection. And the 6 inch point clogs are horrendous, IMO.

I did love this collection - the shoes were so crazy! But awesome at the same time.
My favourite though was also the prints - so colourful and creative
everything is completely amazing, just that
I live under a rock when it comes to fashion (okay I watch Project Runway... but really).
And even I have noticed the intense stirrings in relation to this show. I even watched it (if you haven't I recommend it!)
I was so amazed that he could combine the jungle, animal print, reptile print, and aliens of all things and not come off tacky. That is a feat!
