Feeling Literary Part III

There's few things prettier than a full shelf of books. Some will remember part one and two.

agreed. totally gorgeous. my bookshelf looks a lil empty at the moment as I'm going to uni tomorrow and all my books are in three crates. hmmnn...I have too many books. But I'm definitely taking inspiration from these pics when I set up my shelves at uni xxx

Ohh, books. If I could, I'd live in a house lined with them. I just moved, though, and could only bring with me a few of my favorites. Gotta start building up my collection again!

Hey, wait.... was it just me, or there was an 8th picture with toys that is not there anymore...???...

I like them all anyways... :)

Bookshelfs are always so pretty, but I can never convince myself to buy a book when I can just borrow it from the library.

i completely agree with you. nothing, nothing nothing nothing, is more beautiful than a book. i should know! i work in the most gorgeous bookstore ever - it's got wood-paneled walls and soft music playing at all times and often i just look up and around and think that i am in sheer heaven.

I definitely agree! I especially love the last photo of the books with shoes underneath since I keep shoes on my bookcase too.

I'm a big fan of books all over the place, too. A lot of books and their covers, all the colours piled together with their lovely typography--they make me happy.

We bought two wall-size bookshelves at Ikea and we lined an entire wall with all our books. The wall of books shows in the fireplace wall mirror, and it looks like we have a room of books. It's a spectacular sight.

I love books not only for reading but how they look on shelves as well. I have such a large collection - I dream of built-in book shelves!

I really hope books never get superseded by technology. Given their mass following, I suspect they never will, though, haha. Shelves of pretty books are definitely among the best things in life.

Books books and so many books !! Ohhhh,I'm so ashamed. This makes me want to give my books a better place than just chucking them n boxes or on the floor.

I need to help them get a new home !! Really beautiful photos <3

I think you'd love my shelves. Haha. I'm so full of myself but really my shelves double as curiosities shelves so they're pretty interesting. Not as dust-free as these, though, I'm ashamed to admit. *sigh*

That fourth one is amazing. And yay for the Polaroid Book! I really need some new shelves for my bedroom, there are books piling up against the wall that need a proper home. Hope you're having a beautiful weekend :)

I'm always slightly embarrassed at how many books I have...overflowing my bookshelves and stacked up against the walls. I even donate books and go to the public library as much as possible. Still, I always end up with more that are too precious to part with. It's comforting to see other bookworms out there :)

I love the hapazard look of books. Not perfectly lined up with worn spines and knick knacks lined up in front. My favorite is the one with the birdies on top, though all the pictures are gorgeous.

I couldn't agree more. I love perusing people's bookshelves, and bookstores for that matter, especially when there are pretty vintage books lined up on them a la these photos!

Aahhhh! I love to look at bookshelves- you can tell so much about the owner by the books, the pictures, the little decorations they choose to put up :0)

For a couple seconds I was oohing in my head about your book collection. I just got myself a new bookshelf last week for my growing book collection! If only I could make my books like as pretty as those... I just might.
