YarnOverMovement Giveaway

As fall draws near its time to start layering up with hats, gloves, and wonderful knit items like this scarf created by the wonderful lady of Stay Fancy Free. Her shop YarnOverMovement features the most lovely knit items from hats to ladylike ascots. Tara-Lynn (the knitter and blogger) describes her knits as "vintage-inspired" and it's easy to see them infusing style into any wardrobe.

Since the days are still over 100 degrees here in Tucson, it's a little hard to imagine wearing a scarf. Soon enough though - the temps will drop to the . . . 80's. LOL!

I just discovered this etsy shop the other day! I love scarves and cowls and everything cozy that comes along with the fall and winter months. I have been begging my sister to knit me something similar since she started knitting. The color and pattern and versatility of this cowl is fantastic!

Knitted scarves have a deeper meaning to me. They remind me of my grandmother, who passed about 8 years ago! =/ She knitted scarves, blankets, jackets, baby clothes, beanies, etc ALL the time! Miss her everyday. That scarf, however, is beautiful...COUNT ME IN!
