Ruffle My Feathers

I build my outfits from a single piece; starting with the item I want to wear on that day and pulling other things from there. This outfit was began with my new vintage feather fascinator. I wanted to build off the various warm colors and actually ended up with a very neutral outfit for me. Black, browns, and a small dash of blue and yellow? This is quite different from my usual mad clash of colors.

I love the color combination! I have to admit I'm very partial to feathers and mustard yellow. Your photos have also reinforced my need to go West. It looks so beautiful and serene where you live.

Great outfit! I love the feathers, and the shoes and socks.

lovely, simple and graceful.

You make vests work for you so well -- I feel like they look ridiculous on me, but they're gorgeous on you! Funny how we make "style guidelines/rules" for ourselves...

& how do you keep your nails so pristine? Or do you redo them often?

Laia said...

I build my outfits the same way haha

you look lovely even though you're not wearing so much color as usual, anyway you're still wearing color, I mean only the dress is black, all the accessories pop up (I don't know if I've explained myself properly xD) well probably I say so because I am adding black right now to my wardrobe, I have too many colored things already! haha
