Some readers might recall I spent a semester in Athens, Greece last fall. One of the things I really enjoyed about that city was the beautiful streetart that I would pass on my walk to school or in those little neighbors near my apartment that I would get lost in. I recently came across these creations by a Greek street-artist in Athens and they're taking me back. Of all the forms graffiti takes, these little nautical girls might just be the cutest.

Haha...that's great!
i remember you posting the street art last year! it was all so neat. these are really really neat as well.
i ask again, why cant our graffiti be this beautiful/interesting?
Oh, graffiti was one of my favorite things about studying abroad. I started a collection in Sevilla, Spain. Lisbon, Portugal really blew my mind with its artists, though.
These are fabulous. I'm jealous that my city doesn't have such awesome street artists.

the street art in athens has always kept me looking around and going down alley ways whenever i go. there are so many interesting artists and pictures that i find myself going around taking pictures of walls all day! i've never seen these before but they are so cute and lively! they look like they're jumping off the wall!

anyway i love the art and i wish i could go to greece...
These are so beautiful - they look like drawings on top of photos, they really stand out from the background! Must've been so wonderful to see things like this in person.
These are so bizarre (which I love), and, as a few others noted, look photoshopped. Very cool:)
