Freedom Or Confusion

"Artists sense within their own work that kind of swelling of possibilities, which may seem a freedom or confusion." -Jasper Johns
If you haven't noticed yet, may I announce: I like color. It is one of the main elements of my style; color and mixing different ones in new ways. While blue is still my favorite color and used to dominate my wardrobe, green has slowly been worming its way into my outfits.
Now with this newish H&M dress (seen first here) and the Tulle coat in this post, I predict a very green fall...

I really like the last outfit--that skirt is fantastic, especially with the green.

Like you, I love color, but I recently noticed that most of my wardrobe is black and grey. I need to rectify this depressing situation.

wow, that dress is just darling! I love color too, I think everything I buy has lots and lots of color. My new mission is to buy only solid dresses to add to my wardrobe, because I don't have more then one!

So pretty! :) I love the colours, especially teaming the green with mustard tones..one of my very favourite combinations. Green goes lovely with your hair too.

I love the different ways you put together the outfits, and with different pieces.
I tend to stick to mostly dark colors (alright -- black) with small pieces of color, though if I went for a color it'd be maroonish or green. Lately I've been branching out to the base color of grey (such an improvement!) and turquoise, which actually is more "my color" than the maroon.

Green seepage is good.

Rebecca, The Clothes Horse said...

@Anonymous, the tights are yellow with a red undertone vs a blue one. And I work with what I have, I don't own mint green and I'm more drawn to saturated hues. Most pastels have no appeal to me.
